The July 14, 1990 recreation of the first Cold Spring Harbor biology class (pictured left) and the original July 6, 1890 class, returning from a field trip. Organized and directed by Robert Gensel of the Laboratory's Purchasing department, 11 volunteers donned costumes matching those of the 1890 class.
